HEVEA was founded in Denmark in 2009 by Terese Hoffeld. During her pregnancy, she couldn't find a pacifier that combined beautiful design with safe materials – so she simply developed one herself. This led to an entire product family for babies.

Natural rubber is obtained from the milky sap of the rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis) – hence the brand name. The material is naturally soft, elastic, and durable, comes from a renewable source, and feels pleasant to the touch – ideal for anything babies put in their mouths.

Yes – HEVEA products are free from BPA, PVC, phthalates, and artificial colours. The soft colours come from natural pigments, and the glass bottles are completely plastic-free.

Glass is tasteless, hygienic, and does not release any substances into the milk even when heated. The natural rubber casingprotects the bottle from impacts and makes it easy to grip – even for small hands. The wide bottle neck also makes filling and cleaning easier.

Before first use, scald the teat with boiling water, then clean regularly with warm water and mild soap. Natural rubber is not dishwasher safeand does not like direct sunlight or radiator heat. The glass bottles themselves can be boiled.

Natural rubber is a natural material and ages over time – this is normal. Check pacifiers and teethers regularly before each useand replace them as soon as the material becomes sticky, cracked, or porous. You can find suitable replacement nipples in our shop.
