Liz's Little Studio

Lízes Petit Studio is an independent Swiss brand, founded in Zurich. The collections are created there — inspired by travels and stays in various European cities and by everyday life with children.

The name is a tribute to James Joyce's Ulysses — a novel that packs a whole life into a single day. Children experience the world in the same way: an afternoon in the garden becomes an expedition, a puddle an ocean, a cardboard box a castle. Lízes Petit Studio makes clothes for these big days in small lives.

Lízes Petit Studio designs timeless pieces and reinterpreted classics — clothes that don't chase after a season, but are meant to stay. Each piece should grow with you, be worn, played in, and eventually passed on.

Lízes Petit Studio uses organic cotton wherever possible — soft on the skin, good for the world. The fabrics come from a selected fabric dealer in Spain. As production is in small quantities, conscious decisions can be made for each piece regarding what goes into it.

Design and conception take place in Zurich. The pieces are crafted with care and in manageable quantities in a small, family-run atelier near Porto, Portugal — no mass production, but true craftsmanship.

Because real hands are behind every piece. The atelier in Portugal works in small batches, with fair wages and high-quality materials. The price reflects what's in it: careful craftsmanship and a garment that won't fall apart after three washes. Fewer pieces that last longer — that's Lízes Petit Studio's alternative approach.
