Trigonos is a wooden building set from Catalonia that gives children something rare: the opportunity to build their own play world. Large enough to crawl into. Simple enough that no instructions are needed.
Behind Trigonos is the Catalan designer Josep M. Figueras, who developed the construction toy and still has it manufactured in small series in Spain. The blocks are made of sturdy spruce or pine wood and are easy for children's hands to assemble, and the sticks are made of robust beech wood – harder and more elastic, so that even large huts stand securely. In addition, there are fabrics made of organic cotton. Everything is FSC-certified, tested according to EN 71 and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 – and has received multiple awards, including "Best Construction Toy" from the French Association of Play Centers.

The beech wood rods are simply inserted into the holes of the blocks, and the fabrics have a hem through which they are stretched. This creates without tools and without instructionssturdy caves and houses that are large enough to crawl into.
The Kernel (44 pieces)is the ideal starting point for a first den or a small house. The Family (79 pieces)allows for larger structures with multiple rooms, while the Maxi (150 pieces)is ideal for siblings, playgroups, and daycares.

Yes, on dry days, Trigonos is also wonderful in the garden. As the wood is untreated, it should not be exposed to moisture permanently and should be brought back inside overnight.
