Description
Sometimes it doesn't take much to create a whole world. A few wooden sticks, a few blocks, a soft piece of fabric – and suddenly there's a den, a house, a puppet theatre or a ship on the high seas in the middle of the living room.
The Trigonos Kernel is a wooden construction set made for exactly that. 44 pieces of pine and beech wood and organically grown cotton invite your child to build again and again. The sticks of hard, flexible beech wood slot easily into the holes in the spruce or pine blocks – light enough for children's hands, sturdy enough for big structures. The fabrics have a hem through which they are stretched. This creates stable structures big enough to crawl into, hide in or create a little kingdom of one's own.
The set contains exactly the number of pieces needed to build the classic Trigonos wooden house. But that's just the beginning. What else gets built is up to your child's imagination – a workshop today, a market stall tomorrow, a cave palace the day after. This open-ended, free play is at the heart of Trigonos: a wooden construction toy that naturally encourages creativity, imagination, fine motor skills and role play. Educational wooden toys that fit seamlessly into play worlds based on Waldorf and Montessori principles.
Trigonos Kernel is suitable from 4 years and accompanies children well into school age. For older children, it serves as material for geometric and mathematical exploration. When playtime is over, all parts can be quickly taken apart and stored in the included storage box. It can be expanded as desired with the Start, Family and Maxi sets.
Made in Spain – according to the manufacturer from FSC-certified wood and organic cotton fabrics, and tested to the toy safety standard EN 71.
